Over the next month you may notice some things about our website that appear out of place, or not quite right. The reason for it is pretty exciting!

The website we’ve had the past few years has not been an accurate reflection of the quality we wish to provide for our clients nor the value we wish to provide to the world. After careful reflection and a tireless pursuit of clarity it has become obvious that the website (and therefore the face of our company) has not properly reflected the vision and scope of what E-Starr stands for. Some portions of the website have been left unattended, while others were never fully realized. But it’s time to update and clear out the cobwebs.

This post will serve as both a notice to clients and an roadmap for updates that you can follow along with.

Feel free to comment on this post with your own ideas and suggestions, after all E-Starr wouldn’t be here without our wonderful clients.

Roadmap:

✅ 404 Page – Utilizing the 404 page as a testing ground, we designed this page first! It’s not much, but we love it.

✅ Footer – The footer has been a thorn in our side for years, making it the next best place to start. Let us know what you think of the new footer!

✅ Header – Outdated and lacking content. New content will be added to the header as it is added to the website.

🟦 Blog – The blog needs a rework, it isn’t serving anyone currently. This will be our next focus.

🟨 About Us – This page has been missing since the last update of the site. It seemed as though a page about our company might not be of value to clients, but, although that may be true for some, we would like to share our mission and story with those who do have an interest and whose values might align with ours.

🟨 Hosting Packages – It’s time to rework these packages. Much has changed over the past few years and it’s time our offers reflected that.

🟨 Services – The services we offer have also changed. We have access to many more add-ons than we used to and clients don’t know they’re available.

🟨 Individual Service Pages – We plan to create pages for each of the add-on services we offer through our portal, such as Site Builder, CodeGuard, NordVPN, Business Email, and SSL Certificates (yes, we believe in the oxford comma).

🟨 Contact/Support – With a focus on providing as much self-help as possible, but also easy access to a client support specialist when you need it.

🟨 Home Page – New offer showcases and promotions, as well as everything you need to begin your website creation process with minimal steps and obstacles.

🟨 Resources – A new page that will provide many resources that we recommend, including guides written by our staff to try to help you be successful with your website, whether it’s for business or a hobby.

🟨 Web Design – We’ve had some customers reach out about getting their websites designed by us, so we want to showcase those designs as well as provide a more clear way to order full website packages.

🟨 Policy Pages – With new products and services we will also need to update our policies. This section will also be redesigned with clear navigation as the main focus, making it easier to find what you need.

🟨 Portal – The portal is getting an overhaul as well, with a focus on making sure the offerings are in sync with what we offer on our website.
